Master Color Oil is our classic DIY oil, which is simply applied in two layers. In addition to a natural version, which enhances the natural color of the wood, we also have a white version to keep light wood types nice and light.

If you want a completely different color, choose one of the 9 variants with color pigment. This allows you to color and protect your wood with one product. It becomes especially special in combination with pre-treatments such as lyes, which stop yellowing or first apply a dark undertone before oiling.

Always do a test first to see if the result on the type of wood to be treated is satisfactory.

Result

The treatment with Master Color Oil provides a silky matt surface. The oil colors, penetrates deep into the wood and provides a strong, dirt and water-resistant surface. The oil accentuates the natural wood structure.

Instructions

Wipe the wood beforehand with a cloth in a solution of Intensive Cleaner (1:40 with water). Then let the wood dry well.

For the wood types beech and ruby, first spray WOCA maintenance oil with a spray bottle over the floor and polish it directly into the wood with a white pad. Then let the maintenance oil dry for at least 2 hours and only then proceed with the application of WOCA Master Oil. By applying maintenance oil, the absorption of the master oil will be more even.

Apply evenly with a brush or roller and let it soak in for 20 minutes. Rub in with a hand pad or single-disc polishing machine, rub dry with cotton cloths.

Post-treatment

After 6-8 hours, polish the treated surface with a small amount of Master Color Oil to fully saturate the wood.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean regularly with natural soap. Natural soap forms a protective layer on the surface. To postpone a major freshening up, mop once a quarter with Oil Conditioner.
